Big
Girl is a 17 hand, 10 year old dark bay off the track thoroughbred mare. This
horse is a very large thoroughbred,
hence, her name. She has good ground
manners and gets along well with other horses Big
Girl has been ridden in the arena and around the immediate area of the arena
and barn. She has also been on a couple
of short trail rides. Big Girl has
attended one event with Doxy’s and did a very nice job.
She
is people friendly, an excellent riding horse for an intermediate to advanced
intermediate rider and has maintained her competitive edge when it comes to
energy. Big Girl is sound as the day is
long for ground work but should not be ridden in any activities that require
jumping or dressage routines due to a knee injury while being raced. Even though
his was addressed using stem cell
surgery, it isn’t in Big Girl’s best interest to participate in activities
other than flat work. The adoption fee
for Big Girl is $900. All excellent homes will be considered.
