Hogan, previously known as Hulk, is a 13.2 hh 6 year old paint pony/draft mix who came to Doxy’s from the Humane Society after being seized from his owner in the middle of March 2013.  He arrived as a stallion and has been gelded.  We initially named him Hulk because of his thick neck and body, just made us think of “Hulk Hogan”.  He is a very people friendly guy and smart as a whip, expecting great things for him as we get to know each other better.

Hogan is receptive to a saddle pad, leads well and picks his feet up without any fuss.  He has been pastured only with mares and gets along nicely with them.  He can be a little nervous yet around strangers.  Hogan has not been mounted due to the terrible condition of his hooves due to poor nutrition when he came to us.  With much care and a hoof supplement they have been almost 100% restored to natural health.  Hogan’s adoption fee is $800.  All excellent homes will be considered.
